Good morning Class 5. Apparently, Mrs Smith has been telling jokes on her class page. If you know any jokes, please email school and we will feature them on here for you. A video of you telling the joke would be a great addition to our class page.
We hope you have had a good week at home and have adapted to our new circumstances. I (Mrs Pawson) have been busy sorting out my children with their school work and we’ve been going out for a walk, cycle or scoot every day. Have you managed to fit in exercise every day? We have also been doing Joe Wicks but we will be trying TedFit next week. If you could give us a shout out Teddy- that would be great. Also, my children have been enjoying creating Stop Motion videos. We downloaded an app called Stop Motion. Have a go and send it in for us to see.
Work for today:
English- Before school closed you were preparing to write a report about Anglo-Saxons. We’d like you to continue with your research and write your report. You can write this in your book and take a photograph for our class page (just email it in and we’ve got a new page to feature all of our work). You can also add some illustrations to your report. You don’t need to finish this task today but make sure you have completed it before our next writing challenge (which will be next Friday).
Reading- Make sure you spend 30 minutes reading. There are lots of books on Active Learn.
Maths- Continue working on your booklet. Make sure you log into TT Rockstars. We are ready to be challenged.
Anyway take care and have a peaceful weekend.

Whilst you are at home, you will probably be using the internet and devices a lot more. Every week, I'll be putting a challenge on Purple Mash for the whole school to take part in.
Remember to talk to a trusted adult if you are worried about anything.
Follow the link to the E-safety page to find more information.
Hello,
I hope you are keeping well at home.
Tomorrow morning, between 08:00 and 08:30, your class teacher will be letting you know more about what activities they have planned for you for the day.
Please be patient because sometimes, when lots of people are using our school website, it's hard to upload things. So even if you can't see anything by 08:30 am, your teacher will be trying their best to put the information you need online.
I hope you enjoy the activities.
Mrs Fryman
