For the 2022 to 2023 academic year, 25 pupils out of 30 pupils within our year 6 cohort are meeting the national curriculum requirement to swim competently, confidently and proficiently over a distance of at least 25 metres. 23 pupils can use a range of strokes effectively and 14 can perform safe self-rescue in different water-based situations.

For the 2021 to 2022 academic year, 26 out of 30 pupils within our year 6 cohort are meeting the national curriculum requirement to swim competently, confidently and proficiently over a distance of at least 25 metres, use a range of strokes effectively and perform safe self-rescue in different water-based situations.

For the 2020 to 2021 academic year, 32 out of 34 pupils within our year 6 cohort are meeting the national curriculum requirement to swim competently, confidently and proficiently over a distance of at least 25 metres, use a range of strokes effectively and perform safe self-rescue in different water-based situations.

For the 2018-2019, 27 out of 32 pupils within our year 6 cohort are on target to meet the national curriculum requirement to swim competently, confidently and proficiently over a distance of at least 25 metres, use a range of strokes effectively and perform safe self-rescue in different water-based situations.
