Year 3
Welcome to Class 3's home page
A big welcome back to all of you. We hope you had a wonderful break and that you are raring to go for your final term in Class 3. The time seems to have flown and the summer term is always a busy one with lots of exciting activities and topics to look forward to.
As well as being busy with our maths, English and other subjects, we are finding out about the Lake District in our topic work. We will be finding out about its geographical features as well as looking at artists, poets and authors connected to the Lakes too. You'll love it! (Look at the links on our class page to find out more.)
We are also working really hard to prepare for our Feast of Choirs 2017 where we will be performing our gospel songs in Liverpool Anglican Cathedral along with other schools. Our performance is in July. Details to follow!
We will be finding out about Judaism in RE and have some exciting activities planned for that. We are sure you will enjoy making traditional bread customary with the Jewish tradition and we are hoping to book a visit to a Jewish museum too.
All in all we have a lovely term planned and hopefully by the end of term you will be prepared and ready to become Year 4 pupils! Now that makes you all sound very grown up!
