Friday 12th June

Good morning Class R.

Well it’s almost weekend again, it soon comes around!  Thank you so much for your continued efforts with the home learning - it has been wonderful again to see all of the excellent work you have completed this week!

Enjoy the weekend!

Love Mrs Griffiths x

Here is today’s home learning:

Writing

Complete the rest of the writing activities in the booklet below.  Please write the sentences straight in your workbooks.  Remember to sound out each word if you think you can or copy the missing words from the word bank.

Maths

Watch the double up dinosaurs PPT.

Use the double number problems on the PPT and write them in your workbook.

Where else do we see doubles?  Have you any dominoes at home? If you have any dominoes try and find the doubles and then write the number problems in your workbook.

Reading

Active Learn - Please read one of your allocated Active Learn books or a book from Oxford Owl for at least 10 minutes and use the illustrations to answer any questions your parents may ask you about the book.

Tuesday 9th June

Good morning Class R!

I hope you are all getting back into some sort of routine after a well-earned break from school work.

A quick reminder to complete your report reviews that were for your writing home learning.  They need to be completed as soon as possible and either emailed into school through your home learning emails or dropped off at school. Please remember that they need to be on the template we gave you and not just on blank paper or in your exercise books.

This will be a great help and will enable us to complete your reports.

Here is today’s Home Learning:

Purple Mash Activity

Can you draw a beautiful butterfly using all the different tools and colours available? I have set this activity as a 2do, please complete by Tuesday 15th June.

Maths

Look at the sheet below.  How much money is in each piggy bank?  Either cut out the pennies or draw them in your workbook.  Set up a toy shop and sell your toys to your family members.  Write down the prices of each toy and use real pennies.

Literacy/Phonics

Complete page 1 of the sentence sheets below.  Write the sentences in your workbook.  The missing words are at the bottom of sheet 1, however, if you think you can sound the word out and write it yourself, even better!

Please only complete 1 page as I will set the others later on in the week.

Reading – Active Learn

Please read one of your Active Learn books that has been allocated to your file or any other book for 10 minutes.....don't forget the 'Bug' quizzes.

Monday 8th June

Good Morning Class R and welcome back!  Happy Monday!

I hope you have all had a lovely two weeks break from school work and done some really fun things as a family in the holidays.  I am looking forward to hearing all about it!  Again, we were blessed with wonderful weather  smiley

Just a reminder if you would like to access any additional activities whilst at home the BBC Bitesize website and Oxford Owl on-line reading books are available.  I have added the links to both websites below.

Complete the dinosaur maths work below.  Copy the numbers into your workbook and write a number that is more than the one the dinosaur is holding.  It can be any number up to 20.

Reading

Please read one of your Active Learn books or any book and talk about the book with your parent.  Discuss what you liked about the book etc.  Don't forget to look out for the 'bug' at the top of the pages and answer the comprehension questions.
