Level 2 Teaching Assistant required from 10.11.2024
Weekly Hours: 32.5 (6.5 hours per day)
The Governors are seeking to appoint an outstanding 1-1 Teaching Assistant for a fixed term position.
We are looking for an individual who is able to work with and supervise a child with SEND and an EHC plan, under the direction/instruction of teaching &/or senior staff, inclusive of physical and general care and basic classroom management techniques. We are looking for a person with energy, enthusiasm and a positive attitude. Someone who enjoys making a positive difference to the children every day. The individual will be able to –
- Establish good working relationships with pupils, acting as a role model.
- Be aware of and respond appropriately to individual pupil needs.
- Promote inclusion and acceptance of all pupils.
- Encourage pupils to interact with others and engage in activities led/provided by the teacher.
- Supporting social and emotional growth of pupils.
