Wednesday 22nd July 2020
Good morning our wonderful Year 1 children!
Can you believe this is our last day of term?
We have had such a wonderful time with you Year 1! It has been a sheer pleasure to watch you all flourish!
You are a really lovely group of fun, comical, entertaining, caring, thoughtful and hardworking young people and we have enjoyed every minute both with you and your lovely families.
Our only regret is that we haven't been able to spend the whole of Year 1 together.
We are so very much appreciative of all the lovely kind messages, cards and gifts that we have received, thank you!
We hope you all have a lovely summer, enjoy a well deserved rest and take time to thank all those grown ups who have helped you at home over the last few months.
In September you will only be next door, so 'pop by' and say 'Hello!' We will be delighted to see you all!
Here are a few more activities to keep you occupied today or during the holidays if you prefer!
Have fun, stay safe & be AMAZING! Lots of love from, Mrs Darnton, Mrs Craddock & Mrs Stow xx
TIMES TABLES
Begin your day by warming up your brain. Have a go of Rockstars, Daily 10 or Hit the Button.
We were VERY impressed with how many of you have played on TTRS these last few days! Good luck!
MATHS - PURPLEMASH
I have set you a game on Purplemash called 'Bond Bubbles' - lots of you really enjoyed this when we played it last time. Have fun!

E - Safety - Remind yourself of the SMART rules for working online. Can you design your own poster to help others remember the rules and advice? You could then display this in your house to remind you of E-safety during the summer holidays.
Here are some other activities that you might like to do...
ONLINE READING AND READING REAL BOOKS
Why not enjoy some reading today with an Active Learn reading book or the other online reading resources. Don't forget there are sometimes questions there too to make sure you've understood the book.
We hope that this is something that you can continue to enjoy throughout the summer!
