Hello Class 5. I hope you've had a super week so far. Thank you for engaging with the blog and for the lovely voice notes. They have all made me smile. Today at 11am, The Duchess of Cambridge is doing an assembly about mental heath. Follow the link below to watch it live or you can catch up with it at another time.

Great work on area and perimeter this week. Today you are going to find the area and perimeter of things around your environment. They can be big or small things. Please create a table to show your findings. 

 

Grammar:

Complete sentences that uses synonyms for dark words. You will find this on Purple Mash. Please make sure your sentences are punctuated correctly. 

OPTIONAL: How many more synonyms for dark can you think of?

 

RE:

Think about what you can remember about Jesus’ teaching so far. How did Jesus say people should live? Create a mind map. Use the link below to find more information to help you.

Purple Mash:

Follow the link below to learn all about the Alps. You are then going to create a leaflet using Purple Mash. 

Optional: create your own piece of art inspired by the Alps. You could take a picture of it and add it to your leaflet.

Optional: Pick any word and then find 5 synonyms and 5 antonyms for that word. Write a different sentence using each word that you have found.
