Writing
In your workbook write me a story about going on your favourite holiday.
Where did you go? Who with? Why was it your favourite holiday? What did you get up to?
Use your phonic knowledge and don’t forget capital letters at the beginning of a sentence and full stops at the end.
Maths
Watch the PPT about telling the time.
Complete the activity below to see if you can work out the times on the clocks.

Play the sentence game - How words can combine to make sentences, using 'and', 'but' and 'so.' Please complete this activity by 16th July.
Understanding the World
Choose a few challenges and complete with the help of your parents. Talk about what we can do to save our planet. Draw a picture of what you can do in your workbook.
RE
See the sheet below with an RE lesson about our Christian Community - The Church. Work with an adult to complete the activity.

Today’s Purple mash activity set as a 2do.
Create your own animal with the textured paints.
Writing
Look at the sheet below. Either use the sheet or write directly in your workbooks about your favourite memories from Class R. Think about all the fun things we have done and do your best writing. Try your best to sound out each word – use your ‘Robot Arms’ to help you.
Reading
Please read one of your Active Learn books or any book off the Oxford Owl website for at least 10 minutes and use the illustrations to answer any questions your parents/carers may ask you about the book.
E-Safety
Please look at the E-safety page on our school website. Make sure you spend 10 minutes each week discussing/thinking about how to stay safe online.

Here is today’s Home Learning:
Purple Mash Activity
Choose a pet and write a few sentences to describe it. Use the word bank on the left of the screen as support. I have set this activity as a 2do, please complete by Tuesday 13th July.
Maths
Watch the PPT below about weight and capacity, talk with your parents about each slide. The children are baking and how much do they need of the ingredients. Choose some items from your kitchen and estimate which item you think will be heavier or lighter…….then weigh them on the kitchen scales to check.
Literacy/Phonics
Complete as many of the Home Learning shopping themed challenges as you can. Write the shopping list etc. in your workbook.
Reading – Active Learn
Please read one of your Active Learn books that has been allocated to your file or any other book for 10 minutes.....don't forget the 'Bug' quizzes.

Today we are going to write all about a pet. You may have a pet of your own or know a family or a friend’s pet. I want you to tell me all about this pet.
Either use the sheet below or write in your workbook. Remember to use your phonic knowledge when writing and don’t forget finger spaces, capital letters and full stops.
Maths
Complete the Tiger takeaway work sheet and then write the number problems in your workbook using the – and = signs.
Reading
Please read one of your Active Learn books or any book and talk about the book with your parent. Discuss what you liked about the book etc. Don't forget to look out for the 'bug' at the top of the pages and answer the comprehension questions.
