Wellbeing Ambassadors
Introducing Our Wellbeing Ambassadors!

At St Matthew’s we care about everyone’s wellbeing, we want everybody to feel happy, safe and supported at school. Our Wellbeing Ambassadors are a special group of pupils, chosen for their kind, responsible and empathic attitude, who make sure that everyone feels included and cared for.
Everyday the Wellbeing Ambassadors can be found on duty at playtime to help and support their peers. They can be found organising playground activities and looking out for anyone who might be feeling lonely or upset. They encourage children to join in games and make new friends!
Working alongside Mrs Watson and Mrs Stow our Wellbeing Ambassadors lead by example, promoting kindness and respect to everyone. They plan and lead wellbeing activities such as assemblies and kindness challenges. We are so proud of the work they do and the impact they have.
Autumn Term
The Wellbeing Ambassadors have had a very busy start to the school year! Alongside Mrs Stow, the children have been working hard to improve their Wellbeing Hub!

Kitty’s shed has had a fresh coat of paint.
The children picked colours for the shed and asked Miss Simcock and Mrs Watson to vote for their favourite colour!
The Wellbeing Ambassadors wrote to Miss Simcock and the PTA to ask for money to purchase items that they needed for their Wellbeing Hub!

World Mental Health Day

Our Wellbeing Ambassadors delivered an assembly on World Mental Health Day to tell the children about their kindness challenge and poster competition.

Erin and Rosie handing out tokens to children that they saw showing kindness to others. These children then had an extra playtime to show our appreciation!
The Wellbeing Ambassadors ran a competition to design a poster to encourage kindness. These will be displayed around school.
