Here at St Matthews, we understand that the world is much bigger than us, and everyone and everything in it is important. We recognise our responsibility to help others and do our part to keep our planet healthy, and that is why we have a team of committed Global Citizens who lead the charge in making the world a better place!

Our Global Citizens are:

We are taking an active role in our community to make the planet more peaceful, sustainable and fair. Here are some examples of what we're up to:

• Participating in Walk and Bike to School week
• Working towards a Plastic Clever Schools accreditation
• Litter picking
• Exploring and improving the biodiversity in our school
• Improving the recycling in our school and participating in Recycling Week

Our new garden

We are very lucky to have a brand new garden area in our school. The Global Citizens have been planting flowers to brighten up the space, with the help of Mrs Clarke.
