Hello Class 3!

I can't believe you are all in your final half term of Year 3. It seems to have gone very quickly and I am going to miss you all SO much. You have worked so hard this year and your recent assessments have shown what great progress you have made so you all deserve to really enjoy the next few weeks and have lots of FUN!

P.E. is now on Mondays and Wednesdays. We are fortunate to have Miss Hughes teaching us dance on a Monday. She will be teaching dance linked with Peter Rabbit and also dance linked to our science topic on plants, light and shadows. She teaches at Bridgewater and is excellent so you will have lots of fun!

We will be doing plenty of reading and writing and lots of art too. Our science topics wil be plants and light and shadows so we will be doing plenty of practical work. In RE we are learning about Judaism which is really interesting too. You will start by making your own scrolls which should be fun. I am also going to finish reading Charlotte's Web and read our final mystery book to you which I KNOW you will love because it's scary. Ssshh.. don't ask me what it is... it's a surprise...

Home Learning is due in every Thursday and will be given out every Friday.

Spellings will be tested each Monday as part of our spelling and phonics lesson and new spellings will be ready to go home on a Tuesday. All spellings will be personalised for each child.

We aim to test times tables weekly too so keep practising! Any parents who could help with this would be much appreciated!
