We are a one form entry Church of England primary school situated in the village of Stretton, Warrington. St Matthew's is built on a Christian foundation and we put God at the centre of everything we do, equipping children with Christian values to prepare them for their lives.
Alongside our hard working, dedicated and highly trained staff is a whole community of dedicated parents and an effective PTA who contribute immensely to our learning environment and the school’s wonderful and creative ethos.
Our curriculum is designed to provide the children of Stretton with the very best education rooted in excellence and Christian values. We strive to challenge our pupils to aim high through our broad, balanced, engaging and exciting curriculum which allows all children to reach their full potential in a happy, stimulating, inclusive and safe environment. It is flexible, achievable for all, child-led and promotes links with our local and global communities. We pride ourselves on being an inclusive school where all the staff are dedicated to assist in your child`s development to the best of their ability
