Year 3 Girls Football
The Year 3 girls had a fantastic time at the Year 3 Girls Football Tournament this week. They played so well together as a team, demonstrating determination and sportsmanship. They even made it all the way to the semi-finals. Well done girls!
2022/2023 Academic Year
Year 5 and 6 Netball Tournament
The year 5 girls played extremely well in the Netball Tournament held at Stockton Heath Primary School this week. The girls made it all the way to the semi-finals coming 3rd place overall. Great teamwork everybody!
KS2 Cross Country
A very big well done to the children that took part in the Woolston C of E Cross Country Race on Wednesday. It was incredible to see the children run such a distance, showing strength, determination and resilience throughout. Congratulations to all who took part.
Netball Town Final
We are extremely proud of the Year 5 girls who made it all the way to the Netball Town Finals at the Ball Hall on Tuesday. They all played so well, working together as a team and showing great determination. Well done to all involved!
Year 6 Girls Football
The Year 6 girls really impressed during their football competition at Priestley College this week. They came 3rd place overall, demonstrating great teamwork, sportsmanship and positive attitudes throughout. The children were so polite, well behaved and represented St Matthews incredibly well.
Year 5 Girls Football
A very big well done to the Year 5 girls who took part in the Year 5 Girl's Football Competition yesterday. They played so well and worked hard together as a team. Great job everybody!
Year 5 Netball
A huge well done to the Year 5 girls who took part in the Netball Tournament at Broomfields earlier this week. They played so well, scoring lost of points and making it all the way to the town finals in March. Well done all!
Year 5/6 Athletics
The children in Class 5 and Class 6 had a great time at the Lymm High School Sports Hall Athletics competition this week. They took part in a range of track and field events, coming 4th place overall. Well done to everybody who participated!
Year 5 Mixed Football Competition
Well done to the Year 5 children who took part in the Football Competition yesterday at Priestley College. You all worked so well together as a team and showed great sportsmanship. You did St Matthew's extremely proud.

Year 4 Girls Football Competition
A huge well done to the children who took part in the Year 4 girls football competition at Padgate Academy. The team came 2nd place. Well done all!
Year 6 Hockey Competition
Great work from the Year 6 children at the Quicksticks Hockey competition this week. They made it all the way to the quarter-finals. Well done to all involved!
Year 5 and 6 Netball Competition
Congratulations to the Year 5 girls who took part in the Year 5 and 6 Netball Competition last week. The children came 2nd place and are through to the town finals held in March.
