Warrington Wolves came into talk to us about winning and losing and having positive attitudes to both.
Our ceramics artwork is nearly finished! We are working on the final pieces, extruding blocks of clay and glazing our crosses.
The Autumn Fair Competition Winners were presented with their prizes by Alan.

UCREATE COMPETITION
Our Year 6 Team have entered a competition run by the Cheshire Safeguarding Team.
They have composed a rap about Healthy Relationships and they have become semi-finalists!
They have been invited to attend a ucreate Hub day to work with radio professionals to recreate their work to industry standard on 29th November at Cheshire Police HQ (Winsford).
The winning commercial will then go on to be broadcast on local radio for thousands of people to hear!

Maths Calculation Workshops for Parents - Autumn term 2016

Y4 are working hard at their residential - dancing and creating artwork for the 'Imagine a Night in the Stars' project.
OUR CERAMICS PROJECT
We are working with our ceramics teacher, Debbie Podmore, to create a fantastic piece of artwork for our entrance hall.
We have been to Debbie's studio to find out more about designing in clay and we have made some clay tiles...
We thought about texture, tone and colour and looked at some of Debbie's designs at her Studio.
We made designs using different tone, texture and colour.
We have learnt how to glaze the ceramic tile and how to extrude the clay into patterns. It is good fun!
We raised £650.13 for Macmillan with our cake sale and 'own clothes' day! Thank you everyone for being so generous!
