Happy Tuesday Year 4

I hope you are all well and ready for another day. I had a lovely day yesterday reading all your work. I look forward to checking my email and purple mash to see what you have been up to. I keep saying this but I really am so impressed with all your hard work. Well done everyone. I will keep adding work to the sharing board on Purple Mash and to the class pages. This will help you to keep in touch with what each of you have been up to.

I was also checking your pizza fraction scores, wow they are good!

Like most of you, I am trying to exercise everyday and stay fit and healthy. Today I might go for a ride, on my exercise bike! What exercise might you be doing? I also thought that I would make some banana bread. Mrs Hazeldine made some yesterday and it looked lovely, she said it tasted good. Unfortunately I couldn't try it,  so I thought that I would have a go. Have you done any baking?

Whatever you do today, stay safe and have fun.

Because he was shellfish!

Good morning Year 4,

I hope that you all had a lovely weekend and found lots of fun things to do with your family. Lots of families are making their own quizzes and playing board games together which sounds like a great way to pass the time. My family and I have found some old board games which have been in a cupboard for a long time and we have been trying to remember how to play them. We found Monopoly and Frustration. It was great fun, even if I didn't win.

I also spent time looking at all the fabulous work that you have been producing. I was very proud of you all. You have taken a lot of time to complete the work and I hope that you are proud of it too. Whilst I was checking, I also noticed that most of you are now sending little messages attached to your work on Purple Mash and I have replied to them all. It is a great way to keep in touch. I have placed some of your amazing work onto the class page. Don't forget that if you want to send a powerpoint or word document into school, you can do that via the school office and the office staff will send it to me.

There is a little time left to complete the Ancient Greek Olympics work and the E-safety poster set last week. Please remember to 'hand it in,' so that I know that you have finished.

Thank you for all the time and effort that you are putting into your work, let's hope that we will all be back in the classroom again soon.

Dear Year 4,

Good morning everyone. This is the first of my teacher blogs. I have never done a 'blog,' before so here we go!

I have been looking at the work you have been completing whilst at home and I am very proud of you all. It must be very different for you to do so much work at home rather than at school and yet you are all doing a fantastic job. Yesterday I looked through your E-safety posters which were super. It was great to be able to read your messages and to reply back to them. Please remember to, 'hand' the work in so that I know that you have finished. It would also be great if you were able to put your work into a sharing document, as we did with our science work. That way we could all see what we've been up to.

I hope that you have got into a good routine at home and that you are dividing your time between your work and play. It is also important to spend time with your family and maybe to offer to help your parents with jobs as I am sure that they are very busy.

I also hope that you have been able to get out into the garden for some fresh air and exercise. I have been trying to do some exercise each day. I'm not very good but with practise, I hope to get better!

Have a lovely day and please remember that you are all amazing. Remember to read the 'smile for the day,' at the bottom of the page. What do you think of my jokes? Do they make you smile or cringe?

Hope to see you soon, take care,

Mrs Smith
