We are very proud of our school’s caring Christian ethos and environment that has a major impact on the wellbeing of our staff and pupils. It’s important that our leaders define that culture and vision, making it clear what behaviours, values and beliefs underpin it.
It is important too that our school leadership team (SLT) build a culture of trust where school staff feel valued, can be open about their health and wellbeing and know how to access support if they need it. The head teacher and the school leadership team (including governors) model good mental health and wellbeing behaviour and practice.
We have an open and honest culture where all staff are respected and valued for their contribution to the team. Staff are encouraged to have reflective conversations which empower them to make change in a constructive way. We believe we are a family here in Stretton and we work hard in unison to secure the very best outcomes for the children and each other!
