23rd April 2020 - Extra Home Learning Resources (BBC Bitesize) & Home Learning

Good afternoon everybody,

I hope that you have all had a great day and that you are continuing to keep safe.

We had another successful exercise class today and we reverted back to Jumping Jack for a second attempt. We all managed to keep up and we had another full house of both staff and children joining in the class. We are (fingers crossed) on our way to our full speed exercise session for tomorrow! We shall see!

I can see each day through emails and online activities that lots of children are working incredibly hard! Some will feel that this is enough work and others may sometimes wish to access some more. If anyone is looking for any extra activities to complete with their children, BBC Bitesize have set up some fantastic new resources for you to try out. There are activities for each day to dip in and out of and clips demonstrating how to complete the activities. It is a great tool should you or your child wish to access this.

The judging of the Easter Competition is well underway and in the final stages. There has been some incredibly tough decision making by all involved but they are all nearly at a final decision. Mrs Fryman will hopefully be able to announce and post the results tomorrow! Well done to all that entered! The entries were fantastic to see!

I hope that you have managed to consider Mrs Fryman’s well-being advice focusing on

Health and well-being

It is a brilliant ‘checklist’ to use with the additional pressures that are being placed upon us all at this time to ensure that we are all keeping positive! I know that the checklist is working for myself and for other staff members to help us ensure that we are still maintaining a positive lifestyle in these difficult times. I hope that it is working well for you and your families as well.

Once again a big thank you and well done for all of the work being completed and for your ongoing support with the home learning. I hope that now everyone is enjoying some time outside in the sunshine!

I hope that you are all keeping safe and staying well!
