Class 2 - Sock Puppets 

 

We have been very busy designing and making sock puppets as part of our Design and Technology topic this term. Here are some of the puppets we have made...

Ruth came in to tell us all about Advent and she lit the first Advent candle.

Local nurseries came into watch Class R's nativity today. It's called Wriggly Nativity and Class R were BRILLIANT!

Thank you for your assemblies, Alan. We loved trying on your hats!

Children have enjoyed watching the builders and their machinery - please take care near and in the car parks.

Dr Farag came in to talk to us about how to keep our hearts healthy. We learnt how to find our pulse and how exercise affects our pulse rate. Thank you Dr Farag!

Our amazing Singing Club performed at the Church Autumn Fayre; it was a great afternoon. Thank you to everyone who helped and who came to support the Church Fayre!

Our Remembrance Service in church was very moving. We remembered those who died in the First World War and parents laid poppies to remember people close to them.

Class 4 performed their dance for their parents and showed their wonderful artwork. We are all very proud of you Class 4!

Road Safety Officers announced their competition winners ... well done!

Class 2 have been busy sharing their seaside projects with us in school ... they are amazing!

Thank your harvest gifts! Our Harvest Church service was enjoyed by all and the Food Bank came to collect the food you donated. Look out for our Class 5 & 6 human chain!

St Matthew's hosted our Y2 Football Tournament ... it was won by Ravenbank...well played everyone and thank you PTA for the refreshments and thank you referees!!

Harvest Service at Church was followed by a Harvest 'bring and share' meal ... thank you for your harvest gifts!

Class 3 parents came to school to have their lunch today.

Class 4 went to Tattenhall ... We had a great time ... look at their class page for more photos!

We invited our local nurseries into school to watch the Hobgoblin Theatre perform Goldilocks and the Three Bears ...

Thank you for all your cake donations for Macmillan ... delicious!
